Sculpted interior and exterior design delivers a refined new look. The authentic cove-mould wood design produces a beautiful window while the slim profile maximizes your view.
For the ultimate in durability, Kevlar®-reinforced fiberglass composite that holds screw threads better than any other material is five times stronger than steel and over 700 times better thermally than aluminum. K-Beam™ is a patent-pending exclusive feature of elements™ that will not transfer heat or cold through the window as common metal reinforcement does with lesser designs.
Corners are fusion welded and automatically cleaned using the best robotic equipment available for the ultimate in quality consistency.
Strategic main-frame and sash chambers are fully insulated with softly expanding polyurethane foam insulation. Environmentally friendly and CFC-free, Comfort Foam™ has insulating properties that improve the overall thermal performance of Elements™ Windows. Don’t be fooled by dubious claims of impressive thermal values of any one component of a window. Look for the overall NFRC U-value to compare one window to another thermally.
Easy to operate ergonomically designed lift rail conforms to your fingertips for easy sash operation.
Ultrafab® Tri-Fin® Gold Series weatherstripping, with built-in Ultra-Fresh® antimicrobial protection, minimizes drafts, dust and pollen and fights the growth of mold on the weatherstripping material. Three sturdy polyethylene fins provide additional barriers and diversions against air and water infiltration. There are over 600” of weatherstripping in an average size double-hung window – more than twice as much protection then common windows provide.
Elements Sliders feature solid brass rollers with solid steel axles housed in a thermoplastic chassis that lasts forever. Solid brass roller modules are positioned by a robotic computer-controlled equipment at exact balance points in each sash. They are smooth, durable, and quiet. Sliding open these sashes, even heavier sashes fitted with triple-pane or laminated glass, has never been easier.

Energy Efficient Glass Options
In general, the better a window’s insulated glass package, the more energy savings and comfort it will provide. One caveat … don’t be fooled by the focus some manufacturers place on “R” factor by itself. According to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Guide for Selecting Windows for Energy Efficiency, “The insulating value of an entire window can be very different from the glazing (glass package) alone. Instead, look at the certified NFRC “U” value for the entire window unit. The lower the “U” value the better the window will insulate. Industry standard is a “U” value of 0.30. For the BEST in insulating values today, look for an NFRC Certified Double Hung Window with a “U” value of U-0.17 or lower.

Solarban® SB-70XL® offers up to 94% of ultra-violet fade protection for your drapes and your enterior furnishings… more than any glass package available in windows today. Don’t be misled by claims of so-called low-e packages that claim fade protection. Low-e glass may reduce fading slightly, but does not screen out any of the most damaging UV rays. See actual comparisons above and judge for yourself. Only SB-70XL stands the test of time. This style window is available with any Decorative Grid option.

For a small fee we send your color sample to our World Class color supplier for a perfect match. Sure-Coat™ is warranted for 10 years and can be reapplied in the field anytime afterward.

Both of our grid styles come in all the interior and exterior colors of the windows. Your home will be completely color matched. All contour and flat grids are contained within the insulated glass. The grids stay dirt-free for a lifetime and the outside glass remains easy to clean.
