Harvey double hung windows are designed and engineered so that the bottom window slides up and partially covers the top sash when opened. A double hung window has two stacked windows that can each move up and down independent of one another. Window Solutions is wonderful company. Angelo arrived on time and worked on putting up my windows on a very cold windy day. Because I have an old house my window frames are not exactly even so he compensated by putting up wooden trims around the new windows so there would be no gaps. The new windows are air tight. He also explained how the windows can be opened up for cleaning as well. He is an excellent worker. I would high recommend him.
