Andersen Double Hung Windows
Andersen double hung windows are designed and engineered so that the bottom window slides up, partially covering the top sash when opened. A double hung window has two stacked windows that are each able to move up and down independent of one another. Andersen’s double hung windows tilt inward from their frame, for trouble-free cleaning on both sides of the window pane.
Available in all Series, These windows are available in wood or Fibrex interior, with exterior options available in vinyl, composite, or Fibrex. Wood options allow for an extremely energy efficient, timeless look – while the alternative options allow for wonderful ventilation and design flexibility. Andersen double hung windows are not only sleek and sturdy, they are available with an innovative locking system for discreet functionality.
