Vinyl Window, Vinyl Patio Door & Fiberglass Door Project in Wolcott, CT

Collaboration:This project involved the installation of three Harvey Slimline double hung windows, a Harvey sliding patio door, a Therma-Tru Smooth Star fiberglass entry door, and an Andersen 10 Series retractable storm door, providing comprehensive upgrades in energy efficiency, durability, and style.

The Harvey windows and sliding patio door feature white vinyl interiors and exteriors, grids between the glass, Low-E Argon Energy Star 7.0-rated glass, standard white hardware, and half screens. Grid patterns match existing aesthetics, with 6-over-6 in the kitchen, 8-over-8 in the laundry, and 3-wide by 5-high on the patio door.

The Therma Tru entry door features a fiberglass slab and composite frame, paired with a Schlage Plymouth Oil Rubbed Bronze lock and deadbolt, while the Andersen storm door features a white aluminum frame and traditional Oil Rubbed Bronze hardware.

Installation followed a new construction method, where windows retained existing interior trim, exterior siding was carefully removed and reinstalled, and doors received new interior trim (2.5″” Colonial casing) with exterior siding reinstalled (patio) or new flat PVC trim (entry door).
