Reframing Walls – Harvey Tribute Window Installation Cheshire

Collaboration: We helped these Cheshire, CT homeowners change the look of their home. We reframed two walls to allow for larger windows which let in more light. We converted double hung windows to casement windows, installed double hung windows, and installed a new front door. Harvey Tribute windows were selected along with a Therma-Tru fiberglass front door.

We had a great experience using Window Solutions Plus to replace all of our 1970s wooden spring and sash windows, as well as expand the size of two new window installations. John and Greg were easy to work with, well organized, and professional.
With any larger project, potential complications may be expected to arise and during these times, communication is key. As agreed upon, we needed to obtain the permits prior to the project starting and it took a bit of legwork on our end to gather the additional documentation required by our town. There was also some minor miscommunication regarding the possible need to move electrical lines under the expansions (this turned out not to be necessary). John and Greg were available and prompt in responding to question and providing clarity where needed.
When the installation days were scheduled, we were equally impressed with the team they sent. Miquel, Chris, and Angelo were courteous, efficient, and skilled craftsmen. They worked well together and took the time to pay attention to the details.
Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the results. We’d definitely recommend using Windows Solutions Plus to anyone looking to replace their windows or make any window expansions.
