From least-to-most expensive, here is the average price scale per one window unit, minus installation:
› Vinyl: ($500-$750 per window). Available on its own (all-vinyl windows) or applied as cladding for wood windows, vinyl is a durable, low-maintenance, cost effective option for any homeowner looking for quality, budget-friendly windows.
› Aluminum: ($550-$800). Aluminum is a low-maintenance, easy to clean, cost effective window material option that can be used on its own or in concert with wood or fiberglass.
› Composite: ($700-$900). Composite windows offer a combination of classic elegance and modern durability. Composite is also an excellent material for blocking thermal transfer and lowering energy costs.
› Fiberglass: ($850-$1000 per window). Fiberglass is a strong and durable material that can be used on its own, or as exterior cladding for wood or aluminum windows. Resistant to warping, rusting and fading.
› Wood: ($1000-$1200). Available in all-wood or with clad exteriors – aluminum, composite, fiberglass, vinyl – wood windows provide the finest aesthetic and thus the highest cost.
Doors Pricing
From least-to-most expensive, here is the average price scale per one door unit, minus installation:
› Entry Doors: ($2,000-$8,000). Entry doors are available in a variety of shapes and sizes – from budget-friendly options to highly-customized and intricate designs which are much more costly.
› Sliding Doors: ($2,000-$3,000 up to $5,000-$7,000). Modern and sleek design which has its varying costs – from entry level single panel options to their more expensive double and triple-panel counterparts.
› Hinged Doors: ($5,000-$10,000+). Hinged doors are an aesthetically pleasing option that range in price based on whether the homeowner opts for a single or multi-configurational unit.
› Big Doors: ($20,000-$60,000). Available in a wide variety of options, these larger doors fall into the most expensive price range based upon the materials and operational adjustments necessary for full functionality.
