Pella Impervia Window & Door Project in Southbury, CT

Collaboration:This project included the replacement of one patio door and one double hung window, upgrading the home with Pella Impervia fiberglass windows and doors for enhanced energy efficiency and long-term durability.

The Pella Impervia sliding patio door and double hung window feature white fiberglass interiors, brown fiberglass exteriors, Low-E Argon energy-efficient glass, standard screens, and standard hardware. The patio door includes two-toned hardware for a refined appearance.

Installation followed a new construction method, with the window installed from the exterior, preserving the existing interior jamb while adding a narrow interior trim stop and new exterior trim as needed. The patio door installation required full frame removal, with new square pine interior trim and Tru-Exterior composite exterior trim, which will need to be painted by others.
