Harvey Vinyl Window Conversion Project in Eastchester, NY

The original window configuration—a triple-slider with fixed panels—felt dated, dim, and hard to use. The entry door and storm door had also aged out of functionality and no longer complemented the home’s aesthetic or performance needs.

To address these concerns, we removed the full window system and installed a casement–picture–casement combination. This layout allows fresh air in from both sides while maximizing light through the fixed center window. All glass is tempered for safety, and the white vinyl frames offer a durable, clean appearance both inside and out. No grids were selected to keep the views wide open and modern.

The front entry received a full refresh with a Therma-Tru 9-lite fiberglass door featuring a composite frame for long-term durability. We also installed an Andersen 10 Series retractable storm door in white aluminum with satin nickel hardware to match. Using a full new construction installation, we removed all old jambs and trim and replaced them with colonial-style interior casing and black aluminum exterior trim for a crisp, updated finish.
