Harvey Vinyl Replacement Window Project in Hawthorne, NY

Collaboration:This project included the replacement of a triple sliding window with a Harvey Tribute triple-unit window and the installation of five Harvey hopper windows for improved energy efficiency and a refreshed look.

The Harvey Tribute triple-unit window features a 1/4-1/2-1/4 setup, with double hung flankers on each side and a fixed center window. The Harvey hopper basement windows offer easy operation and durability. All windows feature white vinyl interiors and exteriors, Low-E Argon Energy Star 7.0-compliant glass, standard white hardware, and standard half screens for operable units.

Installation followed a new construction method for the triple-unit window, where the entire existing frame was removed down to the studs, flashed, insulated, and finished with new interior and exterior trim. The basement hopper windows were installed using a retrofit method, modifying the openings to accept the new units, spray foam insulating the frame, and finishing the exterior with aluminum or PVC.
