PROJECT SCOPE
- Removed two damaged double-hung windows and installed Harvey Tribute vinyl windows featuring Energy Star 7.0 glass and 6-over-6 SDL authentic grids
- Using a new construction installation method we raised the windows 3″ higher to move away from roof, we then flashed the wall underneath the window to ensure no water could penetrate into the house
- We installed 2.5” colonial interior casing with stool and apron, and flat PVC exterior trim with a sill nose
Collaboration: This project involved replacing two damaged double-hung windows with new Harvey Tribute double-hung windows. The new windows feature white vinyl interiors and exteriors, Energy Star 7.0 glass, 6-over-6 simulated divided light grids, white half screens, child limit latches, and no lift rails. Due to significant rot and leaks, we used a new construction installation method, removing the windows, trim, and jambs down to the studs. The rough openings were prepped, and the new windows were installed, flashed, sealed, and finished with 2.5” colonial interior casing with stool and apron, and flat PVC exterior trim with a sill nose. Additional steps addressed preexisting conditions, including raising the windows, flashing under siding, and replacing interior insulation and sheet rock.
