Andersen weiland pivot doors are designed for large, spectacular openings. Think bold and non-traditional. Instead of hinging off of a jamb, pivot doors rotate on a pivot box and can swing in, out, or both in and out. These are made with the same profile options as the Liftslides and Bifolds.

CONTEMPORARY & TRADITIONAL STYLES
Contemporary aluminum panels feature 2 3/4″ stiles and rails while contemporary clad wood panels feature 2 3/4″ lock jamb stiles and rails with reinforcements at interlocks. Traditional clad wood panels are available with 4 11/16″ stiles and choice of 4 11/16″, 8″ or 12″ bottom rail heights.

Pivot doors take the entry door into new territory, and recently Andersen has taken the idea even further – engineering and testing their pivot door to meet weather ratings with a patent pending flush sill. With panel sizes up to 9’ x 11’, these are a perfect option for true design lovers – as they make a bold and modern statement.

Glass plays an important role in the beauty and performance of a door or window. Andersen rigorously inspects their glass to ensure that every piece matches their quality expectations. Any glass available up to 1-1/2″ thick can be ordered to match most other glass types available and meet necessary energy requirements.
Countless options include insulated units with tempered glass and various coatings to optimize energy efficiency including laminated, tinted, and other options.
Weiland systems are used in extreme environments, including harsh desert heat and frigid cold ski resorts, Andersen works with an array of glass suppliers and manufacturers to offer the highest performance glass.
The aluminum wood door design is a robust aluminum sash with wood interior cladding. The 3-3/16″ thick profile includes a 1/2″ wood cladding attached to the aluminum profile by a patented fastening system that connects them structurally, but separates them physically and thermally.
Aluminum door profiles are made with 6063 aluminum, a stronger and harder alloy than the thin aluminum cladding.
Weiland all wood Liftslide is like a beautiful piece of furniture. Andersen’s all-wood lift-slides are available up to 12′ tall.
On-floor drainage sill available with raised threshold, exterior ramp or interior ramp. Flush in-floor sill option can be sunken into the floor for a seamless transition from indoors to outdoors.
