Andersen Picture Window Conversion and A Series Door Project in Westport, CT

Collaboration:This Andersen Window & Door project featured the installation of one A Series contemporary hinged patio door and a style conversion of three quad casement units to Andersen 400 Series picture windows, dramatically enhancing visibility, natural light, and overall aesthetics.

All units include a prefinished white pine interior, white PVC/composite exterior, and Low-E4 Argon energy-efficient glass. The clean design omits grids and screens to maximize the view, and the patio door is upgraded with Baldwin L023 satin nickel hardware.

Installed using a new construction method, the entire door and window assemblies were removed down to the studs. The project included full flashing, insulation, and new flat pine interior trim with flat PVC exterior trim, offering a crisp and modern finish.

This transformation significantly improves the room’s connection to the outdoors while maintaining energy efficiency and refined style.
