Collaboration:This basement window replacement project in Norwalk, CT included the installation of four Andersen 100 Series gliding windows, offering a modern upgrade in energy efficiency, insulation, and overall durability.

Each window features white Fibrex interiors and exteriors, Low-E Argon energy-efficient glass, standard white hardware, and standard screens, making them a perfect low-maintenance solution for basement environments. With a clean, grid-free design and durable composite material, the new gliders provide long-lasting performance in a high-exposure area.

Installed using a retrofit method, the original window sashes were removed and the openings modified to accept the new units. Spray foam insulation was applied around each frame for an air-tight seal, and new interior trim stops were installed. The exteriors were cleanly finished with aluminum or PVC for lasting protection and visual consistency.
