Andersen 400 Series Woodwright Window Project in Wilton, CT

Collaboration: This project upgraded 34 windows with Andersen 400 Series Woodwright windows, enhancing energy efficiency and maintaining the home’s architectural style. The installation included 31 double hung windows, 2 picture windows, and 1 transom window. The new windows feature prefinished white pine interiors, except for three unfinished pine windows in the Fireplace Room, and white Fibrex exteriors. They are equipped with LowE4 energy-efficient glass, standard half screens, and FDL three-part authentic grids on the top sash of double hung windows, while the picture windows remain grid-free. All unequal sash configurations were adjusted to be equal for consistency.

Bathroom windows were upgraded with tempered glass where required. Grid patterns included 6-over-1 for most double hung windows, 4-over-1 for two narrower units in the bedroom, and a 5-wide by 1-high configuration for the transom.

Installation followed a replacement method, custom-measuring each window to fit the existing frame while retaining interior and exterior trim. Minor rot repairs were addressed using PVC material. As an Andersen Certified Contractor, Window Solutions Plus provided extensive warranty coverage, including 20 years for glass and labor.
