Andersen 400 Series Window & Frenchwood Door Replacement in Newtown, CT

Collaboration:This project included replacing 1 double casement window with an Andersen 400 Series replacement double casement window and 2 hinged patio doors with Andersen 400 Series Frenchwood gliding patio doors, delivering energy-efficient and stylish upgrades.

The windows feature prefinished white pine interiors, white PVC exteriors, Low-E Argon energy-efficient glass, no grids, standard screens, and white contemporary hardware. The doors share similar materials and glass specifications but are enhanced with Newbury Satin Nickel hardware.

The casement window was installed using a retrofit method, retaining existing trim. The patio doors followed a new construction method, with frames and trim fully replaced, incorporating 3.5-inch beaded trim inside and flat PVC trim outside.
