PROJECT SCOPE

  • Remove existing double hung, picture, and casement windows
  • Remove one existing wood hinged french door
  • Install Andersen 400 Series Woodwright double hung & picture windows
  • Install Andersen 400 Series casement windows
  • Install one Andersen 400 Series hinged patio door
  • A new construction installation was used to install the patio door
  • Replacement and retrofit installation methods were used to install the windows

Collaboration: This Norwalk home was built in 1930 and had original windows. Because of the original single paned windows, this section of the home was freezing. We removed casement, double hung, and picture windows as well as a french door. In their place, we installed all new Andersen 400 Series products with FDL grids and LOWE4 energy efficient glass. The new windows keep the warmth inside the house while maintaining the historical character of the original windows. This project resulted in the home being a more comfortable place for this Norwalk family.
