Andersen 100 Series Window and Door Installation In Somers, New York

Collaboration:This project included a comprehensive upgrade of 15 units, blending functionality, energy efficiency, and modern design. The scope involved replacing 1 storm door with an Andersen 10 Series retractable storm door, 3 patio doors with Andersen 100 Series sliding patio doors, 7 hung windows with Andersen 100 Series single hung cottage sash windows, and 4 two-lite sliding windows with 6 Andersen 100 Series two-lite sliding windows.

All units feature white Fibrex interiors, dark bronze Fibrex exteriors, Low-E Argon energy-efficient glass, standard screens, and hardware. Safety was ensured with tempered glass in patio doors and in the lower sashes of single hung windows near the floor. The storm door includes a bronze finish with oil-rubbed bronze hardware, while patio doors feature two-tone hardware with white interiors and bronze exteriors.

Installation followed a new construction method, retaining existing interior jambs while adding new trim stops and Tru-Exterior composite trim on the exterior. Door trim matched the home’s existing interior design. As an Andersen Certified Contractor, Window Solutions Plus offers warranties that include 20-year coverage.
